Have your Team Climb the Next Mountain at Mont-Tremblant

Looking for a good company retreat to motivate your staff and reenergized them, you can look to Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentian mountain range in southern Quebec for inspiration.  The Laurentian Mountains cover 22,000 square miles of territory, just north of Montreal in the southern part of Quebec. The mountains forming the Quebec portion of the Canadian Shield in the area partially bounded by the Ottawa, St. Lawrence, and Saguenay rivers. It is one of the oldest mountain regions in the world and consists of Precambrian rocks (those more than 540 million years old). This natural wonder offers great sceneries that burst with colour through its many mountain peaks, rivers and lakes. 

The year-round Tremblant Resort, on the shores of Lake Tremblant, features winter sports, golf courses and a pedestrian shopping village. North of town is Mont-Tremblant National Park that offers forested hiking trails and lakes for canoeing, along with winter activities. Mont-Tremblant’s summit sits at 875 meters (2871 feet) and offers a breathtaking view of the Laurentians. The ski area covers 305 hectares (755 acres) and includes 102 ski trails on 4 distinct slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.

Mont-Tremblant is broken down into three villages the Ski Resort called the Pedestrian Village, the downtown area and the Le Village that is 2 miles away from the resort. The Pedestrian Village’s architecture resembles an European ski town that gets its charm from its many colourful buildings, cozy inns, boutiques, bistros and art galleries. There are 1,900 rooms available at the resort and 60 conference rooms with the largest one at the Fairmont Hotel (8,448 sq. ft). There are nine venues to choose from in the resort area and approximately 40 restaurants for dining.


  1. Le Grand Manitou
The Le Grand Manitou venue sits atop the mountain with fantastic views and can hold an event for over 500 people.

Imagine sitting atop of the mountain and throwing a party at the Le Grand Manitou. Freshly renovated, it offers a magnificent 360-degree view of the Laurentians. The Le Grand Manitou can accommodate up 536 people and 580 for banquets in an area of 10,000 sq. ft.

2. Quartier Tremblant – Base Camp 

Quartier Tremblant – Base Camp has accommodation for 650 people in twelve meeting and banquet rooms. Their largest ballroom has a capacity of up to 400 people and their patio has room for 150.

3. Fairmont Tremblant

The Fairmont Tremblant hotel’s largest ballroom can accommodate up to 950 people.  The hotel’s convention centre has a total of 22,000 sq. ft. of meeting space over 22 meeting rooms. There are 314 rooms and suites and a terrace for 150 people.

4. Le Westin Resort and Spa (4 star)

This luxury 4 star boutique hotel offers 6 meeting and banquet rooms totalling 4,090 sq. ft. and has a total of 122 rooms & suites

5. Marriott Residence (4 star)

The Marriott has three meeting rooms, a terrace and a solarium that can accommodate 150 people

6. Holiday Inn Express & Suite (3 star)

This 3 star hotel one to three bedroom condos come with complimentary continental breakfast. Team Building, coaching and conferences are available through the Camp de base. (Available to anyone renting at le Camp de Base, not at a hotel)

7. Homewood Suites by Hilton

This venue has 100 suites available and has two meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 20 people and the hotel rooms were renovated in July 2019.

8. Casino de Mont-Tremblant

The casino has 5 meetings rooms and that can accommodate up to 152 guests, there is  VIP executive suite that can be used for 40 guests. There are 425 slot machines , vast choice of game tables and live entertainment zone.

9. L’Ermitage du Lac

L’Ermitage du Lac is a boutique hotel and is a windowed conference venue sure to enhance creative flow. It has a meeting room for 20 people (boardroom style). The hotel has 69 rooms and provides a free continental breakfast.

Outside of the resort area are two additional venues one downtown – The AX Hôtel that has room for 225 people in their 4 banquet rooms and the Hôtel Quintessence, in Le Village, a luxury boutique hotel with 4,000 square ft. of meeting space.
